History

The enterprise was founded in 1935 as a car repair shop. 1941 evacuation plant in Kuibishev, de mastering the production of engines for Il-2 attack aircraft.

After the Great Vitchiznyanoy war, the plant made turns to Mogilov and launched locomotives, steam power plants, bridge cranes and oil tankers on the GAZ-51 chassis. In 1958, the production of single-axle tractors MAZ-529, which were developed at the Minsk Automobile Plant, was transferred to the Minvazhmash of the SRSR at the Mogilov metro station. In 1960, a group of designers was transferred to Mogilyov from the Minsk Automobile Plant, which became the basis of the technical services of the plant. For the first time, MoAZ became one of the largest manufacturers of earthmoving and transport equipment in the USSR. 1966 the plant was renamed into a car factory.

In 2006, the plant became the branch of BAT "BELAZ". From 2012 year - branch of BAT "BILAZ" - relevant companies holding "BELAZ-HOLDING". Importance is more important than exports - over 85% of products are delivered to the countries of the CIS.

Mogilivsky Automobile Plant MAZ

The history of the business dates back to 1935, when the car repair business named after S.M. Not long before the Great Vitchiznian, so the name of the auto repair enterprise was re-dominated for the release of aircraft engines, and the evacuation plant was not a problem. And the cars themselves began to be released only in 1958, another spring of that year, only the main tractors were produced there, which were distributed at the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). The first tractor MAZ-529V is equipped with a 4-cylinder 2-stroke diesel engine YaAZ-204A (120 h.p.), a 4-speed gearbox and a pratsyuvav s 1-but main squeaker with a capacity of 4 m 3.
